Welcome to Streams PTO
The Streams Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit parent teacher organization (PTO) whose mission is to institute and sustain a close relationship between parents, teachers, and students by evolving opportunities within the home, school, and community.
The PTO provides assistance to teachers within classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.
Streams PTO Membership
Your Streams PTO membership helps ensure we can maintain successful events. The nominal yearly membership fee provides support to our classrooms to fund activities, technology and SO much more! We would love to welcome you and truly appreciate your support!

- Aug. 6 – New Family Welcome Breakfast
- Aug. 20 – First day of school for Grades 1-4
- Aug. 20-21st – Kindergarten Orientation (individually scheduled)
- Aug. 22 – First day of school for Kindergarten
- Sept. 2 – NO SCHOOL – Labor Day
- Sept. 5 – Streams Open House
- Sept. 13 – Streams PTO General Meeting, 9:30 am (virtual)
2024-25 Volunteer Opportunities
As our current school year is quickly approaching, the PTO is already looking ahead to next year and would like to encourage everyone to look over our committee listing and sign up to help for next year. We love having a full year of fun events and activities for the Streams students, but none of them would be possible without our amazing parent volunteers!! We have so many committees that are run by working parents, so please don't think that you can't sign up if you are a working parent. Most of the planning happens when the committee members can meet in the evenings or on the weekends. Many of our events are also scheduled in the evening, so no time off work is necessary.
Please see the committee information and sign up as either a chair or a helper for each committee.
